Solarcentury Africa has a zero-tolerance policy to modern slavery, human trafficking and forced labour. We are committed to acting fairly, professionally and with integrity in all our business dealings.
As a global company with a large supply chain, we recognise that the risks of modern slavery exist within our business. Solarcentury Africa is committed to complying with anti-slavery laws and regulations in every jurisdiction in which it conducts business, including compliance with disclosure obligations under applicable legislation, and to acting ethically and with integrity in all its business dealings and relationships.
Solarcentury Africa expects its third-party supplier, contractors and other business partners to similarly act to prevent modern slavery. As part of its contracting process, Solarcentury Africa communicates this Policy to all of its third-party suppliers, contractors and other business partners, and requires compliance with anti-slavery laws and regulations.
We have appropriate processes and policies in place to mitigate the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our organisation and supply chains. We review and approve these policies every two years.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
